What does the CDCS® examination cost?

Registration fees

Registration fees for the CDCS® examinations are - £450 ($700)

The registration fee includes:

  • one examination entry fee
  • a hard-copy study text and candidate study guide and/or a CD Rom containing both in soft-copy versions
  • a certificate from the Institute/BAFT-IFSA/ICC for successful candidates

Additional fees

Candidates outside of the UK, US and Canada are required to pay an additional international booking fee.

  • International booking fee - £50
  • Preparatory and/or review courses contact the Institute, BAFT-IFSA or your local ICC National Committee.
  • Examination re-sit fee (if not initially successful) - £275 ($440)
  • International booking fee for re-sits  - £20

Re-Certification

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) registration fees:

  Institute (Outside the US, Canada, Mexico and Latin America) BAFT-IFSA (US, Canada, Mexico and Latin America)
Payable years 1 and 2 £40 None
Payable year 3 £100 $160
Registration and recertification fee if none paid in years 1 and 2 £180 None
Re-sit exam if CPD not completed £450 $700

Please note: Candidates registering with the Institute are required to pay all fees in pounds sterling. Candidates registering with BAFT-IFSA are required to pay all fees in U.S. Dollars.
